Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman, an American gymnast who was previously a member of both the Fierce Five 2012 as well as the Final Five 2016 US Women's Olympic Gymnastics teams. At the 2012 Olympics in London she took home gold medals for floor and team competitions, as well as a bronze medal for the balance beam. It made her the first American gymnast at the Olympics who won the most medals. The year she was in 2016, along with her partner Gabby Doug were among the first Americans who were able to secure back-to-back team golds. Also, she took home silver medals at the individual all-around as well as the floor exercise. In between the two Olympics she took a break from competitive gymnastics during three consecutive years. Also, she was a member of the gold medal winning American team in the two World Championships. Gymnastics was her first sport of choice when she was two and she has a favorite activity the floor workout. Aly has joined her local Uniting Against Lung Cancer group in memory of her grandmother. She is planning to pursue a career in fashion and would like to expand her signature line of leotards and socks in the near future. Fierce is a new book she plans to release later this year.
